Pandora and Beagleboard uses an OMAP3530 by TI.
OMAP3530 has a PowerVR SGX530 on it. It also has a powerful Cortex A8 ARM CPU with SIMD (NEON), and a C64x DSP.
What about using the similarities and then not need to emulate the Dreamcast PowerVR2 totally? Maybe this could save enough CPU cycles and make it possible. Maybe you can use the DSP for emulating other stuff like the AICA and even the rest of PowerVR that needs to be emulatred.
There's a person planning to reverse engineer the PowerVR SGX contained in Pandora. Maybe this could make possible to have lxdream running at 100% on Pandora, who knows. You can see the forum thread at OpenPandora.ORG forums.
